Continued bed bug problems for three months of residence. Evidence included up to 60 bites per person, dead bugs, and live bugs. Within the three-month period of our residence within the apartment, the apartment was to have been chemically treated for bedbugs four times; as of February 7, the apartment had been chemically treated three times and still evidenced bedbugs and continued to be uninhabitable. There was no evidence of the fourth treatment having taken place despite it having been scheduled and confirmed numerous times. By any reckoning, this was unacceptable and continued treatments were hazardous to our health. We cooperated fully with all of Belmar Villas’ bedbug control efforts. No alternative habitable apartment was offered by Belmar Villas.
