Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

2/25/17 checked into room 112 about 4pm at Days Inn, watched tv for awhile then my husband wanted to take a nap so we got in bed, he went to sleep and I was watching tv still. I got tired so turned over and closed my eyes then I opened them and looked beside me on the bed and a bug was crawling by the pillows, I jumped up made my husband move and I grabbed a tissue and as soon as I touched the bug it busted blood all over the sheet, I took the sheets off and underneath the mattress cover was crumbs, dirt, a hand towel and a 12 inch by 12 inch of bubble wrap plastic! Really gross and dirty! The front desk changed my room and apologized but manager wasn't in. They took my name and phone number said manager would call me on Monday but never did. I stopped back in person at the hotel and saw the manager but all he said was he needed to talk to housekeeping and the owner then call me back later in evening. He never contacted me yet!!
