During the one year my wife and I lived here, we had three outbreaks of bed bugs, which happened every time a tenant next to us moved out. This totaled to over a dozen treatments (just spraying), which obviously did not eliminate the problem because the property management company did not want to pay more for heat treatment or treat the entire apartment complex. If you've dealt with this before, then you know you have to treat the entire building if you want to eradicate this problem, especially when they're moving through the walls and baseboards. One of the property managers accidentally admitted to us this has been a previous problem, and the last manager we dealt with before moving out made us feel paranoid and at fault, even though we moved from another state and brought completely new furniture into the apartment. We ended up having to throw everything away and buy new furniture again for our new apartment so as not to risk bringing bed bugs into another building. This, along with having to wash all of our clothes and bedding dozens of times for each treatment, cost us so much money over the course of our residency here, but I'll gladly take a financial hit than to stay there for another day with bed bugs and incompetent managers. STAY AWAY FROM 840 CHERRY ST AND ANY OTHER APARTMENT MANAGED BY ACURENTS!
