Bedbug Reviews

I stayed that night for business my company uses corporate lodging. When I first entered the room I was somewhat taken by surprise by how ugly and filthy the carpeting looked. Needless to say I was tired so I took a shower got out. Actually I checked both beds to choose which one looked cleaner. Watched a little tv then I went to sleep. About 1:00am I felt an irritation on my back but I thought it was just an itch but something told me to turn on the light and low and behold there was a rather large bedbug along with two tiny red specks moving around. Well I got a cup and managed to catch the big one and one of the tiny one's and showed the guy on duty. Well he proceeded to tell me that he was sorry but he couldn't refund my money since I had used a clc card but that he would get me another room. Needless to say I couldn't sleep much after that. The first room they gave me was a dump! I didn't know that baymont had sunken so low! I will never stay here again! They save thecrappy rooms for the cheaper rates.

06/28/19 morning of discovered bits on my (Cheryl Wade) and spouse’s body (Samantha Wade). Was woken out of sleep from irritation and killed one immediately. Thinking it was ticks or mosquitoes. Went to work that morning around 7 am and can back to hotel room 6/28/19 night and told a female at the front desk about my concern. “Jas” said she did not know how to handle this situation and would call management to let us know what they would do about the situation. We left the room and came back no one was at the front desk. We went back to the room and came back down to tell a different female associate. She said someone left a note in the computer saying we were contacted but now the rooms were booked. I nor my spouse never received a call and the room was booked under a business account for the company we work for. To which my boss said he never received an initial call about the bugs either only a call from management stating to kick us out to vacate the property. Since the account has his information. We explained to have the room transferred but once again all rooms were booked and we had no other option but to sleep in the car or deal with the bugs. I called customer service (Wyndham) several times about the situation and they kept trying to get us to book another room but being on a business account I could not authorize and charges at 12 midnight fire it is not my account and we had already paid for the room that morning for the night so they told us to wait until the next morning to file a complaint. The next morning the assistant manager said she wanted us to leave before she called the cops for informing customers to protect their belongings because we were infested and would have us locked up for slander, which was uncalled for because you can comply call slander if it were not true and we had concrete evidence. She would not take care of our luggage problem since we had 4 bags of luggage in the room that night. She offered “$1.50”. For the hotel dryer for 4 bags of luggage not really caring about our well being from being bitten from head to toe nor the fact that this would now be carried back to our home. We have taken videos and pictures even after management tried to argue with us saying that they were not bed bugs but never fully changed our bedding only remade the bed. Our stay lasted 2 nights from (6/28/19-6/29/19).
