Bedbug Reviews

Inspected bed carefully with flashlight before moving luggage in, found no signs of bedbugs. Went to bed at 11:45 pm, woke at 2:00 am and upon return to bed found small blood spatters on sheets. Closer inspection, could see bright red small bugs crawling on sheets. Bugs would crush and stain if touched. Based on evidence on/around the bed, this was a VERY new infestation. No mature bugs/casings were found. (And there were some cleaning issues under the bed, so if the bug evidence was there, it would have been seen.) Collected a couple of the bright red small bugs from the sheets in tissues and took to front desk at 7:30 am. Manager was VERY nice and accommodating, moved us to another building for duration of stay and refunded first night. We were able to isolate and decontaminate luggage and belongings so no bugs were transported to second building or home. Was told pest control company was dispatched to room the very next day to begin treatment, but did not look to confirm.

Checked in April 17 217. on the 4th night of our stay we found one bug crawling on a white sheet we had covering the couch. (We don't like sitting on furniture) we captured it in a container and googled it for 4 hours. We had never seen one before so wasn't sure if that's what it was. Matched pictures on google but was 1am and no one was at front desk. Asked the maid the next morning and she called up the hotel manager immedielty. He confirmed it was a bed bug and killed it with a tissue. He immediately called a company that comes and steams everything in the room including our belongings. He assured we would not carry any in our luggage. The owner then came up and was very kind and accomadating to our situation. Gave us another room, but was very outdated and not the view we paid for, but did offer a refund.
