Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I checked in on December 17, 2015 at O\'hare inn and suits. The room i satyed in was 302; carpet needed vacuuming badly, needed dusting, and there were sticky marks on the dresser. Since I was staying in for one night only, I decided to bare it. By evening, around 8pm, I was laying in bed watching TV and in the corner of my eye, I saw something moving on top of the blanket. It was a fully grown bed bug. I jumped off of the bed and used my emptied-togo-coffee cup to capture that creepy thing. I pulled the blanket off of the bed and checked for more. I didnt check under the mattress and under bed because i was too scared to find more. After that, I took several pictures of that bug and then checked my belongings as I repacked my carry on bag. Went to the front desk with that coffee cup and informed my finding. The front desk person named Rahul offered another room but I was just disgusted to stay there. I asked for a discount since I\'m not even staying a night and place was gross, but he simply replied that he is not the manager so there\'s nothing he can do. So I checked out and waited for my ride. As I was waiting, the front desk person took the coffee cup that I gave, and tossed it to the nearest garbage bin. When my ride arrived, the front desk guy talk to me one last time. He said if I come back, they will give me a discount on my next visit. I\'m not coming back...

Incident happened on 05/28/22 at 4am. On the first night of my stay I was woken by an intense need to scratch my face, chest and back. I woke up and asked my partner to look at my face and that’s when he noticed three inflamed blisters from bug bites on the left side of my face on my cheek. Went to the bathroom and notice one bite on my chest and the left upper side of my back. We immediately looked in the bed and discovered a bed bug crawling on the blanket. We captured the bug and put it in a ziplock back and took pictures and videos of the bug and my bites. We immediately packed everything of ours and went to the front desk to demand a refund and to show them the bug and my face. The front desk clerk told us that he couldn’t give us a refund that only the manager could do that for us and she wouldn’t be in till later on in the afternoon. He told us her name was Lucy and that she would be in at 10am and gave us the number to call. We proceeded to call to talk to her at 12pm that same day and the clerk that answered said she wasn’t there anymore and wouldn’t be coming in and wasn’t sure when she would be in next. He also told us that they were working on paperwork for the incident but didn’t elaborate on what the paperwork was and what it was for or how they would take action on getting our refund. We called the day after in the morning and spoke to another clerk Christina and she apologized for how the situation was being handled by the other clerks we’ve spoken to, she told us that Lucy would be in later that day around 4pm and that she would notify her manager when she came in. Christina was the only employee who took down our names number and room/reservation information. We called back later that day and was told by a different clerk that Lucy was again not there with no information on when Lucy would be in. We called the next day, Monday Memorial Day, and asked for Lucy, she was in and we finally were able to speak with her. We told her of the incident and demanded our refund for the two night we booked, and she then proceeded to tell us that she with some other employees allegedly went to the room on Saturday to inspect it and clean it and that they “turned the room upside down and didn’t find any bugs” we then told her that we have photo and video evidence from that night of our stay of the bug we found in the room and of my bites on my body and if we don’t get our refund we will have no other choice to report it to the department of health. That’s when she told us to send her the evidence through email and she would evaluate it and get back to us regarding the refund. We send her a very detailed email with the evidence and reinstated that we demanded a refund. She only replied to the email once asking us the name on the booked reservation and hasn’t gotten back to us since. I also still haven’t received my refund considering we didn’t stay for both nights. The staff and manager seem standoffish and shady from the beginning and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here.

If you find bedbugs in your home you should remove as much clutter and as many items as possible from your house. Replace all bedding and examine the box spring for bedbugs.
