We regrettably stopped at the first hotel we seen, because we were so tired. Apparently, too tired to notice what we were laying on, and when we woke up the next morning we noticed bed bugs everywhere. After some disbelief and rudeness from the owner, we were given a full refund, only after presenting pictures of the bugs

Stayed at the Rustic Motel on 10/27/17-10/29/17. Upon checkout on 10/29/17 we noticed a bed bug on the comforter. We put it in a bag and brought it to the manager. The woman acted surprised and repeated that room 116 was their nicest room and that no one dirty stays in their motel. We got a refund for 1 nights stay. She was polite and cooperative. I have 6 bites. After talking to friends who also stayed at the Rustic Motel on the same dates, we confirmed that another room found bites after leaving. Definitely not worth staying and being miserable and paying for dry cleaning and spending a whole day doing laundry and being paranoid.

2026-05-05 The staff is friendly, she let my husband and I check in early at 10am. We unpacked our car and just got settled in at around 1130am we layed on top of the sheets on the bed and I kept feeling like a mosquito bite feeling and I rolled on my stomach so my husband can check my back and I had 2 tick looking things crawling on me. He took them off and we google searched them just to be sure but they were most definitely bed bugs! Looked around the room and realized how gross they left it, the floors had so much grime and nastiness from previous people that it is a surprise this place is still in business. I'm demanding my refund back ASAP. We were here for less than 2 hours before getting but multiple times on my back
