Checked in on June 6th and checked out June 8th. Didn't look for bed bugs as this type of hotel SHOULDN'T have this problem. HOWEVER, we noticed while walking down the hallway on the Sunday we were there that a house keeping lady was vacuuming the mattress. We thought this was odd protocol for the normal cleaning of a resort room, but still didn't put two and two together.....UNTIL WE GOT HOME. Long story short, we brought bed bugs back to Kansas City with us in and on our luggage and probably what we had on the day we left. We now have them in our master bedroom. Didn't notice for 3 weeks when we started getting a few bite marks. Called Terminix and because we have a 3-story townhouse, the cost is $1,560. They treat all or nothing. No such thing as only treating the room where they appeared. I haven't tried to call the Monte Carlo as I'm sure they'll blame the airline or some other place we haven't been to like the movies. HOWEVER, I do plan to contact the Las Vegas Health Department because I can't imagine someone else having to deal with the horrible time we've had since returning home.
