Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

1-29-19 management just apologized and said he thought the situation was taken care of I was bit by a bed bug around 4:00am had to leave and miss work today, cancelled my second night never go back I have video of the bed bugs crawling on the pillow case it was a mess!!!

Checked in on 6/19/23 at Sleep Inn Springfield West. I had some bites but the person with me didn’t have any so at first thought it was from something else. On 6/23/23 was laying on the bed and saw a bed bug crawl by. I took the big to the desk and let them know I wanted to check out. I was given a refund for one night but was told they would have to wait for pest control before giving a full refund. On 6/27/23 I called to check the status and they still had not had pest control there.
