Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We suspected a problem may months ago but landlord never got a professional in to check it out. He brushed it aside basically. The bites have increased and we found actual bed bugs on the wall, put some in a plastic container, and called the landlord, who only sent his friend in to check on us. Still no professional in sight. His friend sprayed around, said he'd be back after checking other units, but he never came back. Talked to other tenants and learned this has been an ongoing issue and landlord refuses to do anything. The place is a joke, our apt is miserable, we are not comfortable here. If I were you, I'd stay away from this place.
