Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

have been living in the complex for many years and a few years ago gotten bedbugs from who knows where, did not bring any used furnature into the unit. landlords at the time treated and was bedbug free untill a few weeks ago when we noticed one crawling up the wall. we asked around with other neighbors and they said that several building are infested and the owners are charging 50$ per treatment and it has been taking more than 4 treatments to even make a dent in the bedbug population. do not know how we got them this time but we cannot afford to get treatment for them so dont know what to do in fear of getting ecicted for not being able to pay for the services.have thrown out ALL furnature that we found the bugs on that we have had for years that we bought to replace from last infestation,and now sleep on the floor.
