I checked into this hotel on June 7 2015 and woke up on June 10 2015 to my fiancee covered in bed bug bites and we alerted the management of the hotel and the local springfield health department both did nothing. The hotel denied the bites happening in their hotel moved us to another room. The health department States they would send someone to investigate and no one has called back or showed up. My fiancee is havingan allergic reaction to the bites and needs antibióticos but has no insurance. I hold this hotel personally responsible for these bites and we want compensation asap. This is not rhe first known report of this hotel having bed bugs, according to previous customers.

8/1/2025 @ 1:28 am I found a bedbug on my pants leg and had already been bitten by it once on my left foot. A second bite appeared on my left arm near my elbow. That's when I decided to check the hotel room 231 for bedbugs. Upon checking, I found and took a picture of another bedbug. Since my daughter and I were placed here for up to 60 days by a nonprofit organization who helps with those who are homeless, I contacted my caseworker by email of the urgent matter. Then I contacted the front desk to alert them and requested a different room. Management claimed no housekeeping staff was available so they couldn't accommodate us with another room at the moment and that she didn't think they had bedbugs. We sat up for the rest of the night because I had been traumatized by bedbugs in the past in which I had to go to the hospital ER.
