Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

My family and I Checked in at the Savannah Suites Savannah on May 15-22,2015. On May 21 we reported bedbugs bites to the clerk who in turn stated she will inform the manager. I never heard from the manager that day. All contact was initiated by me. Management was unsympathetic and offered no remedy for the bug infestation. Was unwilling to give a full refund started calculating my stay and came up with $109. The was laughable. I refused to accept it. I contacted the Health Department. Stay away from that hotel, especially room 147. Management is poor and unprofessional and corporate office isn't any better. I will never return to that place again. I am not done with them. ....
