Firstly, I'd like to say we have been going to this place for years with no problems. Came down in August (2014) as per usual and I checked the beds like I always do. Found a dead bedbug and tons of bed bug feces on mattress, boxspring and by outlets. Freaked me out enough to request a change of room. Front desk manager came up and looked for himself, claiming they had bed bug training recently...ok. he stated it wasn't poop, I told him I live in Brooklyn NY, I've seen everything that has to do with bedbugs, talked with multiple exterminators, and made it my business to know what everything looks like. He eventually gave us a new room. Inspected that and everything was good. As far as I know, they never had pest control come during our stay. Just wanted to warn people to at least look around before unpacking. The bugs love to poop and hide behind picture frames, outlets, between mattresses and boxsprings, along the creases of the walls. Totally messes up the vacation vibe.
