Check in 4/25/22 check out 4/27/22 Noticed on the morning of checkout that I had bites all over my right arm and a few on my right hip as the day progressed more and more bites popped up along my right arm my right side my lower back and some of my right leg as well as some of my belly area and a few on my left arm. The next day it is far worse with more bites showing up they have now blistered and they are very itchy and painful. I did notify the front desk clerk of what had happened and I showed her the bites on my arms and she asked me to fill up an incident report which I did. There was no compensation offered. The next day they called me the same clerk Judy and said that they looked and couldn't find anything in the room. I told them they needed to specifically look on the couch because that's where I slept. The conversation got quite heated and no resolution was obtained. I have multiple pictures of the progression of the bites since the morning the bedbug bites were discovered until the time of this report.

Our 3rd time staying at this hotel with scrap-booking group. Scheduled to stay 2 nights. Room 108 Friday night, 8/4, saw bed bug! We notified mgr on duty, she was not very helpful, only offered to give us clean sheets. Said there was no other rooms available. Got up and found another live bed bug. Day mgr, 2 maintenance people came to room, said it happens. Said they would spray and deep clean and change all linens, have room ready after lunch. At 2:30 no progress. Event coordinator asked for refund but was denied. We went home! On sun am bites started showing up. Was told refund is on the way. But it’s too late Don’t stay here!

I booked a room at the Country Inn & Suites on Aug 31, 2023 for one night. I woke up to a bed bug crawling on my pillow around 5 AM. I immediately jumped out of bed, packed my belongings, and went to the front desk to notify the staff. I even took the bed bug in a coffee cup to show them. The rude woman working the front desk asked what room I was in and I said room 303. The first thing she said to me upon looking up my reservation was "well you used a third party to book this room (I used Booking.com) so there is nothing I can do" and just stared at me. She said "you really should book with us directly because then I would be able to help you out" and proceeded to place the coffee cup containing the bed bug in a plastic bag and threw it in the trash. She not once offered an apology or an ounce of sympathy throughout our entire interaction. She made it seem like it was somehow my fault there were bed bugs in my room because I booked through a third-party website. She treated me like I was an inconvenience for being upset and asking for a refund. I am astounded by the complete lack of care and professionalism I experienced. I called customer support at Booking.com and stayed on the line while they called the property twice and watched as this same women failed to answer their calls.
