I got married next door and my friends and family stayed there Thursday 8/18/22 to Saturday 8/20/22. I only stayed Friday night. My cousin, who was also one of my bridesmaids, woke up Saturday with bed bug bites. She and her boyfriend killed one and took it to the front desk to show them. At first they didn’t believe them until my cousin googled a picture of a bed bug and compared it. The hotel then apologized and gave them a refund for both nights. Housekeeping REALLY needs to check in between mattress creases or just take a steamer and steam every mattress every time they clean a room. Something. Because it made me feel awful that this happened to them, and I know they felt extremely itchy and gross afterward and had to bag up all their things and go through a long cleaning process before they felt comfortable bringing their things into their own homes. After reading reviews on google, it’s clear this hotel has a history of bed bugs. I understand guests bring them in, but it’s the hotels job to prevent the spread and make SURE everything is clean. I’m just posting this to warn other people and other wedding guests who stay there (since there are 2 weddings every weekend and guests always stay at this hotel) because I don’t want it happening to anyone else.
