Occurred July 3, 2015 This is a Travelodge but it used to be a Best Western. We always check bed bug registry before booking but this hotel was not listed with any alert under either name. Hotel looked rundown so we were more than cautious upon checkin. Immediately upon walking into room we saw a bedbug on the wall. To confirm we looked up bedbug images on a cell phone - exact match. We then took photos/video of it and the room number. Told night manager who agreed it was a bedbug (must have had problem before) and was sympathetic but unsuccessful locating another room or hotel with vacancy since holiday weekend. Found our own hotel across town. No charge from Travelodge and never received a single call or email. Left messages for but still waiting to discuss stay with Wyndham/corporate.
