Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We stayed at this hotel and a guest found bites all over her arms. We immediately searched the bed and found a lonely bug crawling around on the sheets. The bumps were red and raised. When we went to Management, the front desk clerk informed us that her general manager is out of the office and on vacation. She offered to switch rooms and said proceeded to inform us that only the General manager can compensate us and the only option we had was to call him. She was understanding but could offer no action to be taken on the bites. The guest showed her all over her arms where the bites were and all she did was apologize. Today is Sunday and Tuesday is the soonest action will be taken. We will have to handle this over the phone because we live hours away. Poor management for sure.
