Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

My family and I stayed only one night at the hotel. The next morning on our drive home my husband had rashes all on his arms. The following day we had bites all over us. I called to notify hotel and they assured me they do inspections after every guest checks out. After a couple days of thinking I was going crazy, itching everywhere, and waiting to hear back they did have a Orkin man FINALLY come to hotel. They waited for the next guest to leave the room after my complaint was made, knowing there could be bed bugs attacking that guest as well! Now it has been confirmed bed bugs were in fact in our room! Unfortunately we have brought them to our home. Truly a nightmare it has been!
