On the night of September 17, 2025, at exactly 10:48 PM, I made a disturbing discovery that completely ruined my stay. As I was settling into bed, I saw a bug scurry across the pillow-the same bed I had been sleeping in for the past three nights. Alarmed, I carefully inspected it and compared it to images online. It was clearly a bed bug. I immediately contacted the front desk, and after they reviewed it, they confirmed it was indeed a bed bug. At that point I requested a refund so that I could leave the hotel and avoid further exposure. The staff refused and stated no refund would be provided, and instead offered me another room of lower value than what I had originally booked and paid for. They also handed me plastic bags to seal all of my exposed belongings- a clear indication that they understood the seriousness of the situation, especially the risk of bringing them home. despite this, they refused to do anything meaningful to correct the situation. Most disturbing of all was that the hotel manager refused to speak to me, despite multiple requests. I was repeatedly told they were unavailable. Ive since thrown away all belongings that were exposed in fear of infecting my own home.
