On the evening of 10/23/25, during my stay, I observed a live Adult bed bug on me. I immediately caught, photographed, and handed it over to the front desk, who put it in a plastic bag. The hotel staff that evening were VERY helpful; they cleaned my items to ensure I left without any bugs, although the equipment used damaged the items more than it helped. While the evening shift was excellent, subsequent conversations were not. The manager claimed the bed bug I provided did not contain blood when crushed. I suspect they don't recognize what a bed bug is, especially since they didn't use a professional exterminator, as they would have easily identified it. As I have experience with bed bugs, I inspected the room and found evidence of their droppings on the underside of the box spring, an area hidden by the bed frame. I have photos of this. The lack of additional evidence suggests a recent infestation, which I would think they would be happy about, instead of denying a problem. The manager believes the stains are from spilled soda, even though I only had water in the room. Not sure what that says about cleanliness. They refunded my second night when the bug was found, but not the first night.
