Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

2026-07-01 My husband found bed bug in our bed in the morning. I immediately took it to the front desk in a paper cup and was told management would call me within 24 hours. We quickly checked out. I was not contacted by the manager, until late the next day after I emailed Wyndham. She basically dismissed my complaint as "an apparent bed bug" and stated I should have contacted the front desk immediately. I called the Eureka in to request a refund and manager was out that day. When my call wasn't returned, I sent an email requesting a refund. I haven't received a reply.
