My husband and I checked in on 12/20/15 for a 2 day stay in the Gone With the Wind room. It was a much anticipated trip as this is my favorite movie and we were hoping to have a nice, romantic getaway. We were lieing in bed watching a movie and my husband felt something fall on his shoulder, but we didn\'t see anything at the time. A little while later when we got up to turn the TV & lights off, we discovered several bed bugs crawling on our pillows. We jumped out of bed and immediately called the staff and finally reached the hotel owner who sent a couple guys over to check it out. They photographed and confirmed the bed bugs. While waiting for them, we further inspected the bed and found many bugs of varying sizes in the bed, pillows, and curtains surrounding the headboard. We asked to be put in a different hotel, but because of the late hour, the owner was not willing to do so, and arranged for us to move to a different room 2 doors down. We were not able to sleep at all that night and asked the next day to be put elsewhere. After waiting for 3 hours, we were finally able to meet with the hotel owner, who was not very accommodating or helpful and in fact, became rather heated in our discussion. It ruined our trip and 2 weeks later, we are still trying to resolve this with him. The day after we left, I noticed multiple bite marks on NY neck, back, and arms (17 bites - I have photographs). I also have photos of the bugs.
