Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

I was staying in flagship inn with my 6 year old son. I woke up next morning March 7th and my child had bites all over his arms I did not know it was bed bugs till I brought him to the hospital that morning. I immediately went back to hotel to talk to manager and they asked me to leave the hotel that they did not have bedbugs and they did reimbursed me my money however. Before leaving hotel I inspected the bed and sure enough on the edges of the bed were tons of bed bugs totally grossed me out. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone not only is there bugs but they are extremely rude.

August 2021 - BEFORE WE even "unpacked", my fiancee' inspected the bed, & I flipped over a pillow - yup!! IN PLAIN SIGHT, a bedbug!! We grabbed our stuff & left!! I got almost a full refund. Staff claimed I could have all but $10 back (cancellation fee??) We got a room someplace we'd stayed at before - in New London. A li'l more expensive.... but CLEAN!!!
