Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

1. Date &Time July 1st. 12:30a.m. Bedbugs 2. No apologies. Staff said it is common thing. Change to new room to 233 just beside of bar with LOUD music till 1:00am. 3. Steam heat all clothe next morning 4. They did not charge for room. 5. I had 2 more day schedule, but need to come back home cause I don't want to spread bed bug to other hotel. 6. They ruined my vacation but they are so proud of their poor service.

Check in 8/25 and check out 8/29. Myself and another guest in the same room started experiencing symptoms during our stay but we were not aware of what a bedbug exposure looked or felt like. Immediately upon the realization on 8/30, I contacted the hotel and the booking agent to report the exposure. I personally received over 35 bites. The other guest also encountered numerous bites I requested a refund for the room cost. After several calls I did not receive any follow up. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and the booking agent and hotel denied bedbugs in their hotel and declined my refund. I plan to continue with the matter. I took appropriate measures and remained respectful but now I feel respected. It is not about the money but it is about the principle.

Feb 28, 2024 At around 12-3 pm, I noticed bumps on my arm. I thought maybe I got a bite from a bug outside because it was quite warm out. When I went back to the hotel at the end of my work day, I started searching and found a carpet beetle larva crawling on my bed. I didn’t do much searching afterwards. I notified staff about it and they said they were full and couldn’t move me to another room, but tried to have a room available. That didn’t ease my worries, so I started searching more around the bed I was using. I eventually found dead bed bugs on the carpet under the bed. The staff tried to move me to a different room, but I told them that I want to switch hotels and they said that they won’t charge me for today and tomorrow.
