Booked room for 2 nights on june 28 2015, my son came to me with a bite on his face, he was laying down on one of the bunk beds. Didn't think about it went to the water park, hours later came back uncovered the king size bed to find 2 bugs crawling. Wasn't sure what it was called front desk and they sent someone who confirmed that it was a bed bug. Got moved to another room, but still anxious about finding another being that I have an 18 month old too.

Stayed at Castaway Bay on Friday, October 5th. We woke up the night morning with itchy bug bites, to find a dead bed bug and blood on the sheets. Management came and confirmed the bug, then took our luggage for treatment under a heat system. We were fully refunded for our room.

Reservation for 2 nights, checked in Friday 1/23/26. Waterpark closed at 8PM and we arrived too late to enter but figured we had the following day to check it out. Got dinner at Famous Dave's BBQ (attached to hotel) and went to bed. Up at 5AM to get some coffee but as I'm shuffling around I catch some movement. Grab a pamphlet, slide the bug onto it, then fold up the pamphlet to trap the bug in it. Headed down to front desk, showed them the bug, they confirmed it was a bed bug. I asked for trash bags, triple bagged everything in the room and threw everything into the back of my car. Arctic blast coming through this weekend so, it was single digit temps out, figured if it wouldn't kill the bastards, it would at least slow them down. Checked out immediately. Left everything in the car for the next week where daytime temps were single digits and nighttime temps were negative. I think I dodged a bullet and a week and a half later back at home, no issues.
