Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Was about to lay down for the evening when I noticed a small dark spot underneath the sheet. As I looked closer, it started moving. I told my girlfriend we have a bug in the bed, she jumped up, and we pulled the sheet back to find not one but two bedbugs. We packed and left immediately. Afterthought we should have known better, as the hotel was in horrible condition. Smelled of mildew, the floors were stained and dirty, stray hairs around. It's unfortunate that the owners allowed the hotel to degrade so rapidly. At one time, this was a nice hotel to stay at.
