Four of us stayed at The Grand Lodge on Thanksgiving of 2016. When we went to bed, there were no signs of any bugs. When we woke around 6:30 am, my daughter had a big crawling on her. I wiped it away and no big deal. Until I noticed there were four more in her hair. I made her get up and there were maybe 10 under her, many on the pillow, and a bunch more on the bed, the wall, and even the stand by beds. Looked at the other bed in the room and there were several on that bed, the wall as well We went called the front desk, after 2 hours they came to the room and we showed them. The manager agreed it was bed bugs. We had to ask for garbage bags to pack our stuff in to not bring them home. They did offer a free night stay, which of course we refused to sleep there ever again. She then offered us 6 free passes to the water park. My daughter who has allergies to bug bites and greetings ended up with welts. Her body was covered in bites (yes I have a picture of her arm). I called and the General Manager (Missy) offered to pay her doctor bill, which she did but we had to go get it as she refused to send it. Then offered us 6 more water park passes and 5 good vouchers but we never got them. After 3 months, we had to go pick up the water park passes but never got the good vouchers (no big deal). A few days after I received a call from the CEO from the company who informed me that The Grand Lodge and it's affiliate Stoney Creek have had issues with bed bugs. In fact a 4 year old boy ended up in the ER due to his body being covered in bites. He also informed me that they will only treat that one room, and will not notify anyone or do the treatment and cleaning they should do to fully eradicate the bed bugs as it is too expensive and they do not want a bad name.

8-15-19 Daughter found a bug on arm at 12:30am and woke us up. By further investigation we found mulitple bed bugs on her mattress. Took evidence to front desk and told her what I thought they were. She taped them and said I dont know I have never seen any before. I told her neither have I but I googled them. She offered to move us to another room but at that point we wanted to check out. She refunded our room and apologized.
