Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Checked in on 3/28/2020. Awoke at 3 am 3/30/2020 due to biting of large, adult bed bugs. Had to pack up and check out with toddler in the middle of the night. Hotel still charged us for 2 nts without additional compensation for charges incurred as we had to completely treat all of our belongings for bedbugs since we didn’t notice the bed bugs sooner. What a horrible experience amid quarantine for COVID19!!

Woke up around 130 AM to 4-5 bed bugs. Had to pack stuff and get my 3 year old up to move to another room! Staff told me they have never had this happen before... which I find hard to believe

September 15 checked in the Sleep Inn hotel. When we got to the rock We saw it seemed sort of dirty and dim, but we were exhausted and couldn't just leave an go elsewhere. We booked through Priceline. In the middle of the night I got up to use restroom And noticed a cockroach running across the floor, I killed it and checked elsewhere but didn't want to wake my kids. I laid back down grossed out and could not sleep. Finally at 4:45 am I got up and checked my bed and found a bed bug in it. I reported it to the front desk and they did nothing. They sent housekeeping to check the room and I left. Priceline reimbursed me.

Checked in on October 12, 2017. When we got to our first room one of the beds had hair and glitter on it. Management gave us a different room. Once in the new room, I began checking the beds for cleanliness. As I flipped over pillows I noticed a bed bug. I caught it and took it to the front desk and we left.

If you find bedbugs in your home you should remove as much clutter and as many items as possible from your house. Replace all bedding and examine the box spring for bedbugs.
