I checked in to sleep inn and suites 01/04/2024, I woke up about 130am because my elbow kept itching I was in and out of sleep at first but it was itching to the point of a fresh burn. You put ice on it to keep it from burning but as soon as you take the ice off it's coming back. I thought It was nothing at first until my right breast started itching. That's when I felt the welting. It was only one bump on both my elbow and right breast so I thought maybe it was a spider bite or even a carpet beetle. I woke up my husband about 2am because I couldn't go back to sleep and other places were beginning to itch and I was becoming paranoid. He has to be up for work at 530am so I didn't want to bother him but I was becoming very uncomfortable. He helped me get the thought of bed bugs out of my head because it was only popping up as one bump. About 245-3am I had multiple bites on my upper right butt and it became very irritated with multiple bumps surrounding one area and swelling covering the size of what felt like a golf ball. I just got out of bed in a frustrated state, got dressed and went to find the front desk help. When I brought it to his attention he immediately called his manager and stated 118 has bed bugs again. His manager only agreed to compensate me 37.50 when the room was $100 for the night. I have all of my clothes and valuables in room 118 if it's infested I could possibly spread it to my house, my father's house etc. The front desk help said he did all they could do. I did not get any documentation for said incident but I will request said information as soon as the manager is in at 7am as well as ask him for a full refund. I returned to my room about 345, reluctantly that is. I sat in the chair because I didn't want to get back in the bed. About 10 minutes go by and my inner thighs begin to itch, and started to welt. My lower right jawline my back and my arms. I am honestly losing my mind as I'm sitting in the bathroom on the toilet typing this message. I need help and I feel like they are taking advantage of this situation. When I could have easily transferred rooms and get a full refund. I feel like I'm going crazy and becoming very paranoid. I woke my husband up multiple times through the night which could affect his ability to do his job. Hes a heavy sleeper and didn't feel any itching until he woke up. It is now 507am on 01/05/2024 he has welts and is itching as well.
