! WARNING BED BUGS ! Review of Spinning Wheel Inn Booked a 2 night stay during a busy weekend with a late check-in on Friday night (8/6/2021) drove 2 1/2hrs. When we got in our room (209) @ approximately 930pm, we do what we always do and check beds and room for cleanliness and make sure there are no issues. After pulling the covers back we immediately noticed BED BUGS !!! We immediately got everything out of the room and confronted the gentleman at the front desk. After showing him pictures he had no concern at all and even acknowledged it was a BED BUG. We tried getting a room at there sister hotel Twelve Oaks but they were booked. We received our money back for the two night stay. After sitting in the parking lot for some time calling all hotels around the area to find no rooms available at all. I went back in and told the gentleman that we were unable to find any rooms, he laughed and said it's a busy weekend everyone is going to be booked. At this point I'm getting very ticked off. I gave him a chance to make it right as we now had to cancel our family weekend trip and make another 2 1/2 hrs drive home (TOTAL 5HRS DRIVING) with disappointed kids. I asked if any possibility we could be reimbursed for our cost in diesel fuel it took for the wasted trip, again the gentleman had smirked we dont do that. NOTE My family and I have stayed at this hotel a lot over the years,so much we had a good relationship with the old owners it was our go to in Branson, and we were always satisfied that is until the new owners took over a couple years ago now the place is going WAY DOWN HILL!
