Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

A great Charleston location, this Red Roof Inn is just minutes from the gold-domed Capitol Building, the Civic Center, and the University of Charleston. It’s an easy 15 minute drive to West Virginia Tech and West Virginia State University as well. The Tri-State Racetrack and Gaming Center is also close to this hotel. This Red Roof has easy access to such outdoor activities as skiing, whitewater rafting, and golf.

Checked into room on 10/18/17, noticed small nymphs and an adult the next evening. Reported to management, changed to a premium room and next morning noted small black hard things on bed. Reported to management, changed linen (no heat treatment) because they believed I had brought them over from other room. Upon inspection, noted stains, bugs and exoskeleton on and bed frame. Management returned money. Left facility. Management stated they would look into it.
