Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

August 9th my family checked into room 223 and tried to get settled in. Shortly after, my husband found an insect crawling on him, which I identified as a bed bug. I took it to the front desk and they moved us to room 217. Upon inspecting room 217, we discovered there was bed bug eggs present on the mattress and along the wall. They look like pearly rice with a brown spot. It was after 12:30am when I called and booked another hotel room to stay elsewhere and I checked my family out. The hotel worker apologized and after "calling his manager" they promised a full refund but said I would need to contact booking.com to have it initiated. Upon getting into our car, my husband found d a second bed bug on him. I contacted booking.com and they opened a case on my behalf. It has been 10 days and the hotel has yet to release my funds for the night we did not stay. 0 of 10 do not recommend.
