I stayed at this Residence Inn Savannah Midtown from Tuesday thru Friday (May 20 to 24, 2019). After checking into room 105 and unpacked, I found a bug that looked like a cockroach on the wall in the living room. I requested for a pest treatment which took place the next morning. I believe they only treated the living room, where I can smell the scent of the treatment. On May 21, I woke up with 2 bite marks on my back. On the night of May 22 (3rd night), one of my dogs jumped out of bed at 3 a.m. I turned the light on and found a small bug on the pillow, and I thought it was a small cockroach. Within minutes, I saw a little tiny bug crawling on the comforter on me, and I grabbed a napkin to catch it, and I heard a pop and there was a lot of blood considering the bug was so tiny - the blood got onto the comforter and the napkin. The amount of blood reminded me when I popped a pimple when I was younger. I returned home on Saturday, May 26, and Wednesday morning, May 29, I woke up with bites on the back of my neck. I thought I got the bites from mowing the lawn. Then the next 2 days, I woke up with cluster of bites on both side of my neck/back shoulder area, my left arm near the shoulder and above the elbow, a few bites on my left hip, and other areas which are not as severe minor. I took pictures of the bugs, and I read about them on Terminix, that mentioned the bites might appear within 14 days. I am not sure if it just took longer for the bites show up on me or that I might have brought some one even though I washed all my clothes in hot water. Terminix is coming out in the morning to inspect my home for bed bugs. I have pictures of the 3 bugs. I stayed at many residence Inn and I will never stay at this one again.
