I stayed at this hotel for a week in a half for a business trip. September 29,2019-October 10,2019. Room 611, On 10/2/19 is when I realized I had a multitude of bites on my body. I had to get an opinion from one of my colleagues because this has happened to her before. The staff didn’t say anything about an incident report until I stated something about it. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They moved me to another room stating that the room with the bed bugs will be closed for 2 weeks. I don’t know how true that is. The carpets are filthy. The rooms are old, they definitely need to be remodeled for sure. This has took an psychological, financially, and physically trauma/damage on my life. And I’ve realized that when it comes to business, people don’t care because they’re business will continue when I leave. I do believe the staff could’ve done more financially. I am forced to publicly post this incident everywhere because of the experience and yes they could’ve done more. The tip I would give is don’t stay this hotel. Whenever you’re in a bed bug crisis, lawyer up! Do not handle this situation on your own. Seek legal advice so they won’t have to treat you how they want. So you won’t accept anything.
