Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

We stayed from 08/22/21 to 08/27/21 and notice bites on our arm after the first day. We just thought it was a bite from the beach or the pool. It wasnâ€™t until the bites kept showing up in the morning that we thought to check the bed. There were red bed bugs under the pillows. When we brought it the attention of management they switched our room and refunded the resort fee. It seemed like they have dealt with this issue before and told us to use 99% alcohol to clean our belongings. I will not be staying here again.
