Bedbug Reviews

On 8/02/2025 Saturday morning at approximately 6:00 AM, I awoke to a stinging sensation on my arm. As I instinctively scratched the area, still half asleep, I noticed raised bumps forming across my arm. Alarmed, I fully woke up and alerted my partner. When he turned on the lights, we could clearly see a rash developing on my arm, leg, and back. My husband immediately went downstairs to the front desk and purchased Benadryl from the hotel shop. After taking the medication, I noticed a large bed bug crawling in our bed. I documented the insect with both photos and video, and my partner did as well. I got dressed and went downstairs to notify the front desk. After showing the staff member my bites and the video evidence, he apologized and eventually moved us to another room—Room 252. He provided two large trash bags, laundry detergent, and laundry coins, and instructed us to discreetly quarantine our belongings and wash everything. He also explained that housekeeping was not yet available, and there was only one room ready at the time. I called 1800-465-4329AT 6:36am and was on the call for 44 minutes & 12 seconds, they had contacted the hotel as well to notify that I called as well, they told them they gave me quarters to wash and moved us rooms and will follow up with me later in the day (NO ONE followed up with us). By this time, it was after 7:00 AM, and breakfast service had just begun. My partner and I had to bag, transport, wash, and dry all of our clothing and personal items—an uncomfortable and embarrassing experience, made worse by the need to walk through common hotel areas with our items in trash bags. Our sleep was disrupted, and after taking Benadryl I had to return to sleep due to its sedating effects. Despite the severity of the situation, no one from the hotel checked in on us, offered support, or followed up to relocate us back into a room that matched our original booking. The new room (Room 252) had two full-size beds, a smaller bathroom, and poor water pressure, whereas we had originally booked a king-sized bed. On Sunday morning at checkout, I asked the front desk why no one had followed up with me regarding the complaint I made the previous day. I explained that I had contacted your customer relations line on Saturday morning, and was told someone from the hotel would be reaching out to me. Unfortunately, from the time of that call until our departure, no hotel representative contacted us.
