Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

June 25, 2026, we traveled with our dogs to Hot Springs. After the first night of staying in the staybridge hotel we found ourselves covered in welts. We pulled the bed out and checked behind the mattress and found more than one dead bed bug carcass. These were taken to the front desk where the staff was incredibly rude to us and told us “good luck” when we requested a refund. They did move us to another room for the night but we left the next day, cutting our trip short because it was such an awful experience. In the second room, we found numerous roaches which we photographed and also sent to management. We eventually were refunded for our stay but it took weeks to receive the refund.
