Bugs found 6/12/15, son suffered over 30 bites. Manager informed and saw actual bugs for himself. Moved to new room.

My husband awoke from a nap and a BED BUG was crawling on his shoulder on 9/30/17 at 7:37pm!!! He brought it to our attention and we took it downstairs in a cup. The front desk acted like this has happened before which made us even more uncomfortable. She offered for us to switch rooms and said we would get the night comped but we told her we just wanted to go home. She then said since we booked through Expedia, the room would not be free even if we went home on September 30. She then offered us to go to the plaza in Carmel and we said no thank you we want to go home. Then my husband asked her about the room being comped because she said it was going to be comped at first and then she came back and said it wasn't going to be and the next time it would be free. She then walked around the wall and then came back to say we would get our money back. Why did this manager not get up and come out and talk to us after there was a bug in the bed?! We drove home 2.5 hours with two little ones because we were so disgusted.

We stayed in room 601 with our 2 year old daughter for two nights in April of 2019. The first night I received a bite on my right leg but thought it must have come from elsewhere. The second night however I was bit again and suspicious. Those suspicions were confirmed when my wife was relaxing on the bed and went to roll over, spotted one crawling toward her. After a hasty withdrawal we caught the thing in a cup, and vacated the room. The manager that morning was cordial, and comped the cost of the room in exchange for the offending bug. He told us it would help insure the problem was taken care of. Presumably having u deniable proof helps with that.

April 16, 2023 we checked in and went up to room. I moved pillows around and pulled back blankets to look for bedbugs. We didn't see anything right away, but a few minutes later there was one on the coverlet. I took a picture and we left. I showed it to employee at checking desk. She reported it and said we would not be billed
