We stayed at comfort in from January 15th 2026- January 18th 2026. We found a bed bud at morning of check out. My boyfriend had woken up to use the bathroom and while he was sitting there using it he noticed something crawling on the towel on the floor in front of him. We packed up quickly and went to check out. I let the front desk know and asked to speak to a manager for a refund. The manager was not in yet so i left my number to have her call me. After we checked out we then went to the ER as my boyfriend was having an allergic reaction to the bed bug bites. After we were discharged from the hospital i then called the hotel to speak to the manager and she told me she would issue my refund after I sent over photos of the bed bugs. She instead harassed us saying our pictures weren't taken at her hotel. And never issued us a refund. The portage county health department was also made aware.
