11/9/20 2:00AM My husband thought it’d be a nice two day getaway and we’d treat our young daughter to a Thomas the Train experience here in town, all we were left with is paranoia, inconvenience, and a rude awakening. We stayed i. a room with two double beds, the first night all three of us (and me being 7 months pregnant) squeezed into one double because we wanted to sleep together. Everything was fine. a the next night in the middle of the night i hopped over to the other bed, woke up probably a half hour later to a bite and a full bedbug crawling on my pillow. Immediately i jumped up grabbed the flashlight and threw the pillow outside. I began checking the rest of the bedding and mattress and kept finding more. I awoke my husband and he wasn’t getting but nor our daughter. So it’s around two AM i take myself to the office and the front desk woman is unapologetic, and the only thing she offers if for us to check out. I look at her like she’s insane, It’s two o’clock in the morning my family is 3 hours from home, I have a sleeping toddler. She finally offers us a different room, refuses to acknowledge this has ever been brought to her attention, and doesn’t even mention a refund.
