Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Got each at the neck around 3AM. Googledo what can be the cause. Start looking for a bedbug and found one on the right side of the bed. Took pictures and videos. Killed it with a napkin and gave it to front desk representative - Sharon. Was told to contact general manager after 8:00 AM.

Manager at 2305 new york ave washington dc was informed about bed bugs 4/29 8pm in room and after i discovered them he indicated i would be charged for sheets. Bedbugs are found by microwaving sheets for 30 seconds. If they burn in spots there are bedbugs. There sheets burned in spots several times. Original room was 406.
