I obtained the key around 11:30 on 11/17-11/19 to celebrate me and my wife's 2nd year anniversary and my wife's birthday, which was the following day. I did not go inside the room until about 3pm with my wife. My wife and I were in the bed and underneath the covers watching TV. She sat up and complained about her arm itching, but she didn't think much of it until about 5 minutes later her lower back started itching and she asked me to look to see if I noticed any bumps. She had two raised bumps on her back. At that point, she began looking around on the sheets and about 3 inches away there was an adult bed bug on the sheets beside her and it was still alive. We immediately got out of the bed and began gathering our baggage, which had yet to be unpacked and then called the front desk. We were informed that we would only receive 80% of our refund. I wanted to debate this, because we'd only physically been in the room for less than 3 hours, but my wife was ready to go. They were apologetic, but the best apology would have been a full refund, considering the circumstances. In all, my wife was bitten 5 times. Three times on the arm and twice on her lower back. I'm just thankful that we weren't in there longer and that we didn't fall asleep, because I have no doubt that it would've been much worse. We were only under the sheets for about an hour or less.
