2025-10-22 Our family has stayed off and on for 30 years and this year was the worst one yet. We booked in January, had the Tower and room # in the confirmation. Once we arrived around 5pm we found the doors locked, no instructions on how to check in like we always do. After getting the run around on the phone for 30 minutes, we finally asked the gate guard for help and we're able to park and unload. Once we got to the room I immediately noticed bed bug feces on the bedroom curtains, dirt, dust, sticky floors and even blood stains on the living room curtains. Black mold in the shower, dead bug matter around the beds. I send them pictures all night long and even the next morning as I continued to find issues and all I kept getting was, "We apologize, we'll update your work order, we'll contact you in the morning." No one said we don't have another room to put you in, we know there's bed bugs, we'll refund your stay. NOTHING until around noon the next day when cleaning people passed us on our way to the pool. About an hour later we get an email admitting there's bed bugs and wanting us to sign a waiver that we won't sue them, etc. and they offered to steam clean the cloth in the unit the next day, but we wouldn't be able to go in until night time that day. We refused and demanded a refund, which they eventually agreed to. We immediately packed and drove 6 hours back home. I spent my entire vacation washing, drying and sanitizing everything we owned and tossing everything that couldn't be cleaned.
