12/18/2025 When I entered the hotel room, the lights were on. Very odd. I checked under the blankets before laying down and didn't see anything. I then turned off the lights, laid down and put my arm around the pillow and within a minute I felt a "bite" and instant itch on my arm. I grabbed my phone and shined it on the pillow and saw a dark brown flat spot. I moved and shined the light again and nothing there. I moved the pillow and a little flat brown bug very quickly crawled into the pillow case!! At first I thought it was a tick but definitely not in December and definitely not moving that fast. I immediately called front desk and told the guy and he said to get our stuff and come down immediately and he'll get me a new room. He apologized land seemed pretty mortified but I politely declined a new room and left. I am still waiting for a refund and waiting to hear back from management.
