Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

Stayed Sept 9th. Noticed bites starting to swell once I was departing my plane upon arriving home. Immediately showed and took an antihistamine, not knowing why I was having a reaction. The following day and after some researched, I decided to treat for bedbugs. Washed everything and began home treatments to prevent an infestation of my home. Contacted hotel and they inspected and confirmed an infestation. I had over 50 bites, leading me to believe this was not a new infestation. This is the first time dealing with this for me, and I am sad to report that my last day of a nice vacation has overshadowed the whole trip and is now costing me a lot of money and anxiety.
