We stayed at the Econo Lodge on 1190 W 6th Avenue on September 6, 2019, Room 284, checked out on the 7th. We checked in at about 4:15 pm, put our bags on the floor and went out to dinner. After dinner and checked out the town we went back to the Hotel. I got ready for bed and my son was on his bed checking out his phone when he complained of a bug bite on his ear, at first we thought it was maybe a spider bite, then he got a few more and we pulled back the bedspread and saw the bed bugs on the sheets. I rechecked my bed and it was clean. They have wood like floors so I don't think the bed bugs actually spread. However, when my son picked up the mattress he could see dark spots like they have sprayed for bug before, even on my bed. He went down to the office and the lady was a bit upset at first but then she found another room for us. She had bad eye site so it took her awhile to get us settled; she assigned us a room on the first floor by the office. We checked it out and it was clean of bed bugs. The next morning we went to get a cup of coffee and our receipt. i ask the clerk if she had been told about the bed bugs and said she had. She said it was a surprise as that is a popular room that is rented out a lot. She also said she would get a hold of her pest controller but other than that didn't offer much sympathy for the situation. It was frustrating having to check all our belongs, and my son getting about 12 bites which continued to itch, even after 5 days. i thought they would at least offer a discount. The money isn't an issue, just the lack of not trying to compensate for the inconvenience, but i understand employees have to follow the rules of the hotel management..

Checked in last night and immediately noticed every time I got off the bed it seemed like dirt would get all over the sheets. My boyfriend and I notified brownish black dirt. We thought maybe it was falling from the ceiling being dirty? We didn’t know. I was sure I saw a carcus but my boyfriend convinced me that maybe it was from his stuff. No I knew better. I never use hotel bedspreads so it was on the ground. This morning my boyfriend gets up and leave and I wake up a few hours later. The brownish dirt is everywhere again so I go to check the bedspread and omg there are dried up bodies of bed bugs stuck everywhere on the inside and under the blanket between it and the sheets bodies too! So gross! I called the desk and they just said they would send someone to change it when they got time!!! No!

6/23/20 2am Room 244 Got to room it was filthy stink bedding had not been washed pulled back the blanket saw bed bugs went to the office was refused a refund I am now calming down to go to sleep in my car at a rest stop
