Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

8/1/2023 Checked into my room to find that my bed bug protector had traces of bedbugs where they had sheded and defecated, upon further inspection I found a hole in the mattress protector, asked the owner to change sheets and the protector, he then said that his hotel doesn't have bedbugs and that the spot I had noticed was rust. He then said he would not change the covers until tomorrow, took it upon my self to get a new protector from the staff and put the "new" protector on. Employees were sympathetic but the owner was not, found a few blood spots as well on the protector but I didn't not find a bedbug. did not want to take off the protector and make a bad issue worse.
