Recommended tips after hotel check-in:
1. Pick up the mattresses in the rooms and look under it. Check around the edges of the box springs.
2. Check under the box spring.
3. Lift up each headboard an lay it on the bed. Carefully inspect the hole where the headboard was lifted out of. Also, inspect all niches and corners of the headboard.
4. If you decide to stay in the hotel, do not put any clothes in dressers. Keep them in your luggage and your dirty clothes in plastic bags.

1. I found a bed bug on bed at 5:05 AM. I tried to pick up the bed bug with a tissue, but I accidently crushed the bug and blood exploded on the bed. I found 12 bites on my left arm and one bite on my leg. 2. I told the person at the front desk, but she was not the manager. She told me there were no vacant clean rooms right then and cleaning staff would not arrive until 9 am, but I had to go to work at 7:30. So she told me she would tell her manager and I could change rooms when I get back. No mention yet of reimbursement or compensation. 8/15/2018
