Bedbug Reviews

My family had been staying in a room for a while with little problems. I rented a room for my sons birthday. Within an hour the first bite appeared. By morning one adult and three children are covered in bites. I told managment and she asked if I was going to report it. A man said after church he would check. How can you attend church while beening part of a horrible conspiracy. After reading this page I want to move out of Lincoln. :(

3/15/24 The bed bugs were discovered early in the morning at approximately 7:15 AM. Upon waking, I noticed a bed bug in my bed, which prompted an immediate and thorough inspection of the bedding and surrounding areas. The discovery was both shocking and distressing, indicating a clear issue with room cleanliness and pest control at the property. How Staff Handled It:Upon discovering the bed bugs, I promptly reported the issue to the front desk, seeking an immediate resolution. I requested either an alternative room or a refund due to the unacceptable condition of my current room. The front desk attendant informed me that no other rooms were available and that a manager would not be present until later in the day, initially stating 10 AM, and then later adjusting to 11 AM. I emphasized the urgency of the situation, highlighting the need to sanitize my belongings to prevent further contamination and expressing my discomfort with staying in a room infested with bed bugs. Despite these concerns, the front desk attendant was uncooperative, displaying a dismissive attitude towards my requests. The attendant’s response was inconsistent, and his demeanor was both unprofessional and disrespectful throughout our interactions. It was only after persistent requests and starting a video recording of the exchange that the attendant agreed to issue a refund, contradicting earlier statements about requiring a manager’s approval for such actions. This resolution came after significant stress and inconvenience. Later, a manager appeared, who was previously claimed to be unavailable, and offered a more understanding response, including compensation through hotel points and reimbursement for laundry expenses. However, the initial handling of the situation by the staff was deeply unsatisfactory and exacerbated the distress caused by the bed bug discovery.
